Dental Laboratory Services
Dental Officers/Dental Specialists work in conjunction with the dental laboratory technologists and technicians to take measurements, design, and fabricate dental prostheses. These prostheses are used to restore the function of being able to eat, chew, swallow, speak and smile comfortably.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LAB:
- Function to work on prescriptions from dental surgeons and dental specialists.
- Replace partial or total loss of natural teeth/tooth by constructing partial or full dentures (metal or non-metal).
- Repair, relining and rebasing dentures.
- Restore natural teeth/tooth by fabricating crowns and bridges (ceramic and metallic).
- Restore oral and facial parts by fabricating obturators, artificial nose, eyes and ears.
- Correct dental irregularities by fabricating complex and simple orthodontic appliances.
SERVICE DETAILS AND STAFF:
- New and modern facility based at Providence.
- Dental Laboratory is open Mondays to Fridays, 8am – 4pm.
- A team of 2 dental laboratory technologists, 3 dental technicians, and 3 assistant dental technicians provide the service.

- All types of dentures (complex and simple)
- Mouth guards and splints
- Obturators ( adults/ children)
- Orthodontic appliances
