Psychosocial Unit

Psychosocial Unit facilitates and strengthens resilience within individuals, families and communities to recover from and adapt to critical adversities with potentially damaging long-term impacts

The Unit’s roles are to:

  • Help clients change their perception/routine after substance use affects their psychological, emotional and emotional well-being
  • Encourage the client to examine the available alternatives and make choices that are appropriate and useful for problem solving
  • Guide the client to develop the ability to make wise and realistic decisions
  • Provide health and other information to clients so they can make informed decisions.
