Prevention & Education Unit

Prevention and Education Unit aims to achieve equity for all by delivering co-designed and evidence based interventions in relation to substance abuse across all settings.

P&E Unit’s roles are to:

• Develop and implement comprehensive community and evidence based prevention programmes to enhance protective factors.
• Promote healthy student development and prevent problematic substance use.
• Promote supportive environment in the communities and families.
• Promote prevention projects and initiatives that aims to:
• Prevent initial use
• Delay onset of use
• Promote cessation of use
• Reduce harms resulting from use
