Day Hospital

It is an outpatient service that allow clients to take their daily medication while managing their recovery.

The role of Day Hospital is to:

  • Enable clients to set and work towards meaningful personal goals, including stable, satisfying social relationship, constructive involvement in projects, aspiring and working towards self-fulfilling through works, self-study, training, vocation, hobbies, social and recreational interests.
  • Provide a therapeutic environment for clients to facilitate and encourage their process of recovery. This will bring a positive impact where clients will feel safe from negative influences that could impede their recovery.
  • Enable clients to build up their abilities and learn appropriate techniques to handle stresses and challenges of their daily life. This will increase their self- esteem and will make them become more resilient.
  • Improve the client’s quality of life where they can regain their dignity, find the meaning and purpose in life, can contribute and function in a normal manner as possible in the society. Clients will also be given the opportunity to make use of available; resources explore opportunities to integrate into the community.
