HCA announces technical issues with haemodialysis water plant, works to resolve it

Due to a technical issue with one of the haemodialysis water plants at the Seychelles Hospital, only 16 haemodialysis machines are currently operational at the haemodialysis unit.

Patients’ dialysis sessions will be temporarily rescheduled to accommodate this unforeseen situation, to ensure that all patients have their sessions as prescribed. All of the unit’s patients have appropriately notified of this change.

“Health Care Agency reassures all patients that they will receive their dialysis sessions without compromising the quality of care that they receive,” says Dr Danny Louange, CEO of Health Care Agency.

Health Care Agency has contacted the engineer who originally installed the plant to identify and solve the issue.
